With BYOC-I, Zilliz Cloud sets a new industry standard for data sovereignty, enabling enterprises to deploy AI applications with full infrastructure control, uncompromised security, and regulatory compliance — without sacrificing performance or operational simplicity.

- BYOC (Standard): Zilliz provisions and manages compute and storage resources inside the customer’s cloud account via cross-account roles. This model delivers operational simplicity while maintaining data within the customer’s VPC and providing optional PrivateLink support for secure communications.
- BYOC-I (New): Zilliz introduces a new customer-first model where a lightweight BYOC Agent is deployed inside the customer’s VPC. All data, infrastructure, and operations remain fully under customer control. Zilliz cannot access, scale, or modify infrastructure without explicit customer action, offering an unprecedented level of security for highly regulated industries.
